Advancing disability inclusion: How the ILO is promoting equal opportunities and participation for persons with disabilities through development cooperation projects (2019–2024)

Ensuring the equal rights and participation of persons with disabilities is a fundamental part of the ILO’s mandate to advance social justice. Evidence from over 200 evaluation reports presented in this paper can help ILO practitioners, governments, employers’, and workers’ organizations design more effective, resilient projects that position disability inclusion as a foundation for sustainable development and long-term impact.
