1st Statistical Bulletin on Social Protection in Timor-Leste, 2017–2024
The Statistical Bulletin on Social Protection in Timor-Leste, 2017-2024, provides consolidated statistics on main social protection programs and policies, supervised by ILO as part of the ACTION/Portugal Project.
The first Statistical Bulletin on Social Protection in Timor-Leste, 2017–2024, presents the development of consolidated statistics related to the main social protection programmes and policies for the period from 2017 to 2024. This first edition also features indicators on social protection in 2023 and 2024 in terms of effective coverage, expenditure, and adequacy, allowing for an analysis of the state of social protection in the country.
The bulletin is bilingual, available in Tetum and Portuguese.
The compilation, organization, validation, and harmonization of the data resulted from the joint work of various departments and directorates-general of the Ministry of Social Solidarity and Inclusion (MSSI), the National Institute of Social Security (INSS), in collaboration with the National Institute of Statistics Timor-Leste (INETL, I.P), during the period of 2023 and 2024. This work was carried out under the technical guidance of the International Labour Organization (ILO) as part of the ACTION/Portugal Project.
