Project background
Turkana area is located in Kenya facing poverty challenge to the highest degree .Internal conflict at the area between pastoralists is also a challenge. The growing insecurities and conflict overlapping with frequent natural disasters create an environment in which pervasive gaps to protection from critical threats and lack of empowerment to develop resilience to these threats endanger the viability of pastoral livelihoods.
Objectives and expected outcomes
The Key objective of the project is to promote wellbeing through intervention of various activities .Such activities include.
• Empower them to diversify their economy,
• Empower them to collaborate with government and other stakeholders who focuses on provision of social services hence welfare improvement
Implementation strategy
The project has been implemented in close contact with Community Own Person, community leaders and other group leaders. This ensures ownership and sustainability.
There has been steering committee formed by representative from each Agency .Since each agency had been working with Key Stakeholders in Kenya(eg ILO-Ministry of Education, Ministry of Labour)same applied to other agencies, buying ideas from the project reality had been so easy hence facilitate easy follow up and implementation .

Target groups
Children - who are vulnerable to child labour and hence lacking education
Youth - To help them to develop entrepreneurial skill hence diversify economy at the project area
Parents - who send their children to seek for job, who contribute to civil unrest between themselves
Community leaders - mostly are decision makers, group with influence
