• The development and official adoption of these tools reflect a shared commitment among key actors to foster responsible business conduct. They provide clear guidelines and coordinated steps for ethical, transparent, and sustainable operations across the textile supply chain.

Strengthened institutional frameworks

• Improved collaboration and alignment between institutions and stakeholders lead to more effective policy implementation and better regulation. This creates a more coherent and responsive environment for sustainable development within the sector.

The project starts with a comprehensive mapping exercise to assess the current state of compliance with international labour standards, in order to identify key gaps and challenges that need to be addressed to promote decent work.

Following the mapping, a detailed diagnostic is conducted, leading to the development of an action plan focused on improving working conditions and enhancing the capacities of businesses. This plan will offer targeted interventions tailored to the specific needs identified during the assessment phase.

Training workshops will be organized to build the capacities of workers, employers, and relevant stakeholders in implementing the action plan effectively. These sessions will aim to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and tools to support sustainable improvements in the workplace.

A Code of Practice is developed and adopted to provide structured guidance on addressing decent work deficits. This document will serve as a practical reference aligned with international standards, encouraging consistent and fair labour practices.

Stakeholder workshops are held to validate the findings, action plan, and Code of Practice.
