Joint UN Programme on Prevention of and Response to Gender-based Violence in Sri Lanka
ILO, UNDP, UNFPA, UNHCR, UNICEF and WHO are investing their combined expertise and resources through this project to support Government and non-government actors to address issues within the health, criminal justice, law enforcement and social services sectors that are affecting delivery of an effective and sustained response to reduce gender-based violence in Sri Lanka. The programme is being supported by the UN Resident Coordinator and the Chairperson of the UN Gender Theme Group in Sri Lanka.
