Intended Beneficiaries: Government, labour unions and employers in Guyana and management and labour at enterprise level.

Start/end dates: September 2005 – ongoing

Objectives:
  1. To reduce HIV/AIDS risk behaviours among workers; and to reduce employment-related discrimination against persons living with HIV/AIDS. Action at the level of the enterprise is the principal target of the Project.
Output: National HIV/AIDS Workplace Policy; Behaviour Change Communication materials and messages; training; collection of data (workers' survey).

  1. Peer educators trained in partner enterprises
  2. Focal points from various ministries trained
