Create jobs through the HIMO rehabilitation of health and leisure infrastructures, as well as training, listening and legal advice centers for young people in five regions of Madagascar.
Results
In line with the objectives set out in the agreement, the project has rehabilitated three youth corners, a youth space, two youth centers, a listening and legal advice center for young people, a youth headquarters and a model family planning center.
The rehabilitation work on these infrastructures has created direct jobs for 160 people, including 115 young people, giving a proportion of 72%. In addition, 27 young people were trained on site to carry out the work, ensuring respect for gender equality and working conditions.
To ensure the sustainability of the infrastructure, 9 maintenance committees were set up and trained at local level, and 9 training programs were carried out for the young workers recruited.
