Employment Creation and Peace Building through Local Economic Development (EmPLED)

Funded by the Government of Netherlands, the project focuses on: (1) building capacity for the Local Economic Development (LED) Forum members and the Ministry of Local Development to sustain and expand LED process momentum; (2) creating jobs through employment intensive infrastructure and value chain upgrading programmes; (3) encouraging entrepreneurship and a culture of enterprise.
