Improved national legislation on the worst forms of child labour to bring them into compliance with international standards.
Improved monitoring and enforcement of laws and policies related to the worst forms of child labour.
Adoption and implementation of the national plan of action on child labour, including its worst forms.
Improved implementation of local/national social protection mechanisms for the children engaged in WFCL and/or vulnerable to child labour, towards preventing and reducing child labour, including its worst forms.

Recommendation Report on legal instruments that can address child labor in domestic work handed over to the Ministry of Labour to include revisions into circulars and policy documents.
NSC members trained on CL monitoring and reporting.
25 district coordinators trained on CL and CL free zone district model guidelines.
Work plan on implementation of the CL free district model in all 25 districts and estates in Sri Lanka developed jointly by District Secretaries and CLEAR project team.
Child Activity survey report 2016 (CAS) disseminated among stake holders including 25 District Secretary offices
The National Policy on Elimination of Child labour in Sri Lanka launched in September 2017
Established coordination mechanisms among the Ministries of Labour, Education, Skill Development and Vocational Training on ways to return children of unpaid family work to education and vocational training.
Children in CSE research report developed and will be launched in 1st quarter 2019.
Labour Inspectorate developed to monitor child labour inspection.
