Corridor Economic Empowerment Project (CEEP)/ Economic Empowerment and HIV Vulnerability Reduction along Transport Corridors in Southern Africa

CEEP is premised on the rationale that poverty in informal work settings like transport corridors and other densely populated areas exacerbate HIV and AIDS vulnerability. As such, economic empowerment, gender and HIV and AIDS interventions targeting vulnerable people in these areas, especially women, will yield positive results in prevention and mitigation. Project implementation sites are in Eastern and Lusaka provinces. CEEP is implemented through informal economy structures.
