Anti-trafficking training manual for law enforcers presented in Yerevan

On February 10 the OSCE Office in Yerevan presented a new training manual for law enforcers on combating human trafficking.
Carel Hofstra, the Deputy Head of the OSCE Office in Yerevan, and Armenian Deputy Prosecutor General Mnatsakan Sarkisyan presented the manual.
The manual is designed for prosecutors, police, judges, border guards and labour inspectors. It was prepared by four national experts as part of the EU-funded project “Strengthening of comprehensive anti-trafficking responses in Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia” implemented by the ILO in cooperation with OSCE, IOM and the International Centre for Migration Policy Development.
Building the capacity of law enforcement agencies to fight trafficking is a priority in Armenia’s Anti-Trafficking National Action Plan for 2010-2012.
