This high-level launch event, hosted by the ILO, will formally kick off the “Jamaica Just Transition: embedding climate justice in regional policy frameworks” project. The event will bring together representatives from Government ministries, workers' and employers' organizations, academia and other key partners.
The objectives of the launch event are to:
Learn about the project's key objectives and expected results
Meet the project team and core partners
Confirm the members of the National Steering Committee that will guide the project
Network with other attendees committed to climate action and workers' rights
