Training of trainers for the pre-departure training curriculum for Taiwan (China)

Objectives of the training

  • To establish a pool of men and women trainers from recruitment agencies, VAMAS, DOLAB, VGCL who can provide training for Vietnamese migrant workers to Taiwan (China) on pre-departure orientation seminars;
  • To equip trainers with knowledge and training skills provided in the Pre-departure Training Curriculum developed by ILO in collaboration with the MOLISA under the scope of the TRIANGLE II project;
  • To enable the delivery of pre-departure training in a gender-responsive manner to reflect the particular challenges facing men and women migrant workers;
  • To identify strengths and areas for further improvement of the trainers to help them further self-learning or coaching and support.

Attendees

Departments of Oversea Labour (DOLAB), Vietnam General Confederation of Labour (VGCL), Viet Nam Associaction of Manpower Supply (VAMAS) and 30 sending agencies who send workers to Taiwan (China).
