Training on Respecting, Protecting and Fulfilling Workers’ Rights for the Armed Forces of the Philippines (Visayas)
The training for the armed forces and military officials will equip them with knowledge on the principles freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining towards respecting, protecting and fulfilling workers’ rights.
The International Labour Organization (ILO) and the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), in collaboration with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) conducted the training aimed to equip senior, rank and file officers from the armed forces with knowledge on the principles of freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining in relation to their respective mandated duties and functions.
The training is part of the project on “Promoting the effective recognition and implementation of the fundamental rights of freedom of association and collective bargaining in the Philippines".
