A comprehensive “Participants’ handbook” was also provided to the participants to help them germinate their learning process by utilising various methodologies. Further to the group discussions and interactive presentations, the handbook offered several practical exercises on technical topics.
The training sessions were delivered jointly by SLISP team and the senior officials of Labour Department KP. These officials are designated Master Trainers planted within the provincial Department of Labour (DoL). This proposition will enable the Provincial Labour Department contain, nurture and institutionalize the training capacities within their departmental cadres.
The Director Labour KP delivered a comprehensive participatory presentation on KP specific labour law reforms. The Secretary DoL KP [highest provincial office] made an enormous presence on the occasion which is expected to foster a deeper ownership of ILO’s collaborated endeavours for strengthening of Labour Inspection machinery in Pakistan.
