Third Stakeholders’ Consultation on the Reintegration Strategic Framework, National Action Plan and OFW (Overseas Filipino Worker) Reintegration Advisor and Referral Pathways
The International Labour Organization (ILO), International Organization for Migration (IOM), and UN Women, through the Safe and Fair Programme, and the Bridging Recruitment to Reintegration in Migration Governance (BRIDGE) Programme, co-organized the third Stakeholders’ Consultation on the Reintegration Strategic Framework, National Action Plan and OFW Reintegration Advisor and Referral Pathways on 14 December 2021, via Zoom.
Tripartite constituents and stakeholders from the government, workers, employers’ organizations, local governments, recruiters, civil society organizations, academe, the private sector and OFW and family organizations participated in the consultation which is part of the events in celebration of the International Migrants Day and the Month of Overseas Filipinos. Results of the consultation will be used in the development of the operational aspects and digital design of the OFW Reintegration Advisor and Referral Pathways, and in enhancing the formulation of the Philippine Strategic and Policy Framework for a Sustainable and Gender-responsive Reintegration of OFWs.
Key features of the National Action Plan on Sustainable, Gender-responsive Return and Reintegration were also presented. The said action plan will be launched on 16 December, 2021 -- also through the collaboration of IOM-ILO-UN Women BRIDGE Programme and ILO-UN Women Safe and Fair Programme.
