Thailand: Workshop on policy framework for the promotion of responsible business conduct

The ILO, in collaboration with the Ministry of Labour and the Ministry of Justice of Thailand, is co-hosting a workshop to support government officials in promoting social responsibility for business engaging in the supply chain.


Aiming to create a conducive policy environment to socially responsible business in Thailand, this workshop brings together officials from diverse agencies. Participants will be provided insights on relevant international frameworks and lessons from other countries by the senior specialist from the International Labour Organization (ILO)'s Multinational Enterprises Unit, Yukiko Arai. The workshop also features a gap analysis of the existing policy framework by the country’s top experts. Through interactive activities, participants are invited to exchange knowledge, discuss challenges and brainstorm possible ways to improve the coordination between agencies and engagement with the private sectors.
