STED analysis for the agriculture: livestock sub-sector

The main objective of the workshop is to analyze the diagnostic report prepared by the expert team from Institute of Policy Research on Agriculture and Rural Development, Institute of Social Science and Labour Affaires and Directorate of Vocational Education and Training, including those core components:

• Assess the current skills status of managers in pig farms and the importance of their skills in livestock farming
• Identify the skills needed for farm managers under the current context and the gap between needed skills and current skills of farm managers
• Propose recommendations in terms of content and methods to improve the necessary skills for farm managers and training methods
