This ILO Jakarta social protection webinar explores the underlying challenges of traditional delivery mechanisms for public employment services and unemployment benefits, and the potential of digital channels to address these challenges.Speakers will discuss what challenges the traditional mechanisms impose on job seekers; and how Asian countries use digital channels for an effective and integrated delivery mechanism of public employment services and unemployment benefit schemes (i.e. registration for placement services, job matching, benefit claims, mandatory monthly meetings, referral to reskilling training etc).
