The ILO's Social Finance Programme celebrated its 30-year anniversary in 2021. Throughout the year, we organized a couple of events to celebrate this occasion. This included reunions with former staff and partners as well as an idea generation contest. This contest conceptualized the Future of Work and Finance. We invited scholars to think about the financial sector issues that the ILO should consider and to look at the drivers of future changes in finance and the world of work. The winning ideas will be considered for publication by the ILO.
