Seminar on "Overcoming the jobs crisis"

On the initiative of the Governments of Brazil and France, the International Institute for Labour Studies (IILS) is organizing a seminar to (i) debate policies which provide the most effective way out of the jobs crisis and (ii) draw lessons in terms of implementation of the Global Jobs Pact. Mr Bruno Coquet, Ministry of Finance, France, Chairperson of the Employment Committee, Council of the European Union (EMCO)) and Mr Marcio Pochman, Director of the Institute of Applied Economic Research (IPEA), Brazil, will address the seminar. Representatives of the social partners, as well as experts from Egypt, Germany and the Republic of Korea, have also been invited to contribute to the debate, which will be followed by questions from the floor.
