Regional Consultation on Interventions to Promote Exclusive Breastfeeding in the Formal Workplace

The one-day consultation aims to: (a) raise awareness and knowledge of Family Welfare focal persons and other stakeholders in the workplaces on EBF and its relation to RA 10028 and the MDGs; (b) assess the implementation of the Family Welfare Programme (FWP) and identify emerging initiatives and good practices on EBF promotion among companies; and (c) engage local tripartite partners and other key stakeholders to generate recommendations and develop strategies in strengthening the FWP through EBF promotion in the workplace.
