Raising awareness workshop on ILO Convention No. 87, 98 and Declaration 1998 for Key Business Leaders of VCCI
As the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) would have to play an active role in the final steps of the ratification process, as well as during the incorporation of the three Conventions into national legislation, it is particularly important to analyse all aspects relevant to employers of Convention No. 87, 98 and 105, as well as the costs and benefits of the ratification for Vietnamese employers’ community.
Objectives of the workshop
- Overall objective of the workshop is to provide introduction to VCCI and selected key Business Associations on the principles and issues covered by C87 and C98 and share experience of application in Indonesia, Myanmar, Australia and other Asian countries;
- The workshop is also expected to help VCCI identify ideas for future development of the organization in terms of industrial relations.
