Provincial career fairs in Kampong Cham, Battambang and Banteay Meanchey

The provincial career fairs serve as a platform to showcase existing job openings across diverse industries while also facilitating a mutual understanding among stakeholders regarding the evolving skills requirements of employers in Cambodia. This initiative aligns with the overarching goal of creating an environment that enables young people to access decent employment opportunities.

To make sure no one is left behind, CTEP will cooperate with People's Action for Inclusive Development (PAFID), a non-government organization working to support people with disabilities to mobilize youth and jobseekers with disabilities to participate in the event.

• Kampong Cham province: 18 February 2024
• Battambang province: 22 February 2024
• Banteay Meanchey province: 24 February 2024

The provincial career fair has the following objectives:

• Enable employment agencies to exhibit their available job vacancies
• Facilitate industry professionals in providing insights into the job market, including current market dynamics, future job trends, and employment rights
• Promote job centres in Battambang, Banteay Meanchey, and Kampong Cham province and encourage youth to come to the centres and use the services
• Promote Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) by providing a platform for a total of 150 exhibitors to showcase their products and services while recruiting new employees.
• Enhance the knowledge of decent work and working conditions among young jobseekers
