We are inviting you to join us for the virtual introduction to a new podcast series entitled ‘Refugees at work - What are their prospects?'

Framed as a humanitarian and protection challenge in the past, the potential positive impact and socio-economic contribution of refugees and forcibly displaced people to their host countries is being considered more and more as a significant development opportunity.

Based on the transformation of the international response to displacement and the emergence of the unique PROSPECTS Programme, this six-part podcast series takes a closer look at the changing landscape of forced displacement.

The podcast episodes feature a range of guests who explore the historical context, potential socio-economic impacts, challenges and opportunities that may emerge through the design and application of development strategies in refugee response frameworks.
