PROGRESS DENIED: THE IMPACT OF INEQUALITIES ON DEVELOPMENT 21 February 2013 - 1:15pm to 2:45pm United Nations, Conference Room 2

However, inequalities are much greater than differences and often focus more on fairness and social justice.
This moderated panel will explore the various forms and manifestations of inequalities which are central to the post-2015 discussions. Panelists will provide specific examples of how inequalities result from structural barriers, are incompatible with sustained progress for all and prevent people from enjoying dignity, human rights and interacting as equals in society.
