Policy Working Group Meeting to Review 2017 Activities
The ILO “Strengthen” Project organized a Policy Working Group Meeting to review 2017 activities, discuss the Project Updates and to look at the mid-term Evaluation Report.
Participants were the members of the Policy Working Group (PWG). Key ministries represented include Ministries of Employment and Labour Relations Trade and Industry; Food and Agriculture; Sanitation and Water Resources; Works and Housing; Finance and other public and private agencies.
The project was launched in Ghana in 2016 though it was already running in other 6 countries. The results of the Mid-Term Evaluation showed discontinuity of the project in some due to various challenges notable among them being access to information. The project is to continue with support and co-operation. The three studies were discussed thoroughly and was put on board that the findings of the Studies will be disseminated in a Workshop either in October or early part of November.
