At least 15.5 million children under age 18 are working as domestic workers, making up nearly 30 percent of all domestic workers worldwide. The theme of this year’s World Day Against Child Labor, observed worldwide on June 12, is “No to Child Labor in Domestic Work.” This New York event will launch a new ILO report "Ending child labour in domestic work" and highlight global progress in protecting domestic workers through the groundbreaking ILO Domestic Workers Convention.
