Official handing over of National Green Economic Growth Model for Jamaica

The Model developed and implemented with support from the UNDP and ILO, the initiative estimates the potential impact on GDP, employment, and economic growth if Jamaica transitions to a greener, more climate-resilient economy.

This milestone supports Jamaica’s sustainable development and green employment strategy, aligning climate action with inclusive job creation and strengthening national capacity for a just transition.
