Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Trainings

The International Labour and Environmental Standards Application in Pakistan’s SMEs project, funded by the European Union, will support a week of trainings for small, medium and larger enterprises in the textile and leather sectors in Lahore. Over the week the ILO’s Occupational Safety and Health Specialist, Dr. Tsuyoshi Kawakami will provide a mixture of classroom based and on-site trainings to engage managers and workers in rethinking their working environment and processes and to minimise and mitigate risk. Over the coming months a number of the enterprises will be provided with additional support to design and implement action plans to improve safety and health.
