National Policy Dialogue to Promote Disability Inclusion in Nha Trang
This policy dialogues has contributed in awareness raising for enterprises on job needs and capacities of persons with disabilities and obstacles they may face in the world of work and how enterprises make changes to ensure equal opportunities and access at workplace for persons with disabilities as well as related laws and policies in supporting employment labours with disabilities.
In order to promote the disability inclusion for persons with disabilities as well as the awareness of enterprises in employing persons with disabilities the PROPEL and UN PRPD project in collaboration with the Viet Nam Chamber of Commercial and Industry (VCCI) organized 03 National Policy Dialogues to Promote Employment Opportunities for persons with disabilities in Hoi An, Nha Trang and Hochiminh City in 2015 for representatives from, national constituents, Disabled Person’s Organizations (DPOs), persons with disabilities and around 300 enterprises from different regions in Viet Nam.
These policy dialogues has contributed in awareness raising for enterprises on job needs and capacities of persons with disabilities and obstacles they may face in the world of work and how enterprises make changes to ensure equal opportunities and access at workplace for persons with disabilities as well as related laws and policies in supporting employment labours with disabilities.
