National Consultation on the SDGs - Industrialization and Employment for sustainable growth in India
A national consultation on sustainable development goal 8 and 9 was co-organised by the Research and Information Service (RIS), NITI Aayog and the United Nations in India. This consultation was a part of a series of dialogues around the SDGs, with the participation of the Union and State governments, think tanks, civil society organisations and other partners.
ILO India participated in the session titled 'Employment Generation and Decent Work focusing on creating more jobs in India at a faster pace and ensuring quality of employment in the informal sector.'
