National Consultation on Labour Inspection Management Information System

It is widely agreed that a technological based Labour Inspection-Management Information System (LI-MIS) is instrumental in meeting state level reporting obligations in accordance with the Labour Inspection Convention, 1947 (No 81) and the periodical reporting on measures a country has taken to implement the Convention, cf. article 22 of the ILO Constitution.

It is in this context that the ILO under the project on Strengthening Labour Inspection System in Pakistan (SLISP) funded by the Dutch Government, will convene a national level consultative meeting on Tuesday 18th July 2017 in Islamabad. The ILO believes that the inputs of the custodians of Labour Inspection function should form the basis of such endeavours.
