National Bipartite Dialogue between the Indonesia Palm Oil Association (GAPKI) and the Trade Union Network in Palm Oil
The dialogue is aimed to establish and or agree on social dialogue platform at the national level, specifically between the palm oil employers association (GAPKI) with the trade unions in palm oil industry in Indonesia.
To establish and or agree on social dialogue platform at the national level, specifically between the palm oil employers association (GAPKI) with the trade unions in palm oil industry in Indonesia, and dedicated specifically to the promotion of decent work in the palm oil sector.;
To agree, on a bipartite basis, on concrete actions that need to be taken in order to advance decent work in the palm oil sector, in accordance with the result of ILO’s key diagnostic result in August 2015, National multi-stakeholder forum, and initial multi-stakeholder forum in Jakarta on 10 October 2017 with focus on social dialogue, working condition and occupational safety and health.
Outputs
The output of the meeting is a joint consensus between GAPKI and Trade unions networks in palm oil plantations on enhancing social dialogue as a strategy to address working condition improvement and industrial dispute settlement through social dialogue.
