Launch of the Indonesia Jobs Outlook Report 2017

The International Labour Organization (ILO) is organizing a half-day event on December 14, 2017 to launch the Indonesia Jobs Outlook Report, 2017, a flagship report of ILO-Jakarta. This year the theme of the report is “Harnessing Technology for Growth and Job Creation”. The report explores the symbiotic relationship between technology and employment. The report also includes an analysis of employment trends and the current labour market situation in Indonesia.

The event will include a presentation of key findings by the lead author of the report. The presentation will be followed by a panel discussion. For this event we have gathered an eminent panel of experts who will discuss the findings and provide their feedback. After this, the moderator will take questions from the audience. We are expecting around 40-50 participants including senior government officials, development practitioners, civil society organizations, and representatives from the private sector and academia. After the discussions, the report will be formally launched.
