Launch of ILO PROSPECTS Learning Portal

Join us for a learning exchange to mark the launch of the ILO PROSPECTS Learning Portal — an online platform designed to make PROSPECTS learning actionable and transferable. This online event will dive into experiential learning and trigger critical reflection, aided by the portal’s interactive resources.

Date: 11 November 2025

Time: 14:00 to 15:30 (CEST)

Event: Online, MS Teams, Register here.

The ILOPROSPECTS Learning Portal builds on the report Responding to Forced Displacement – Lessons from the International Labour Organization’s Engagement in the PROSPECTS Programme (2019–2023). The report captured years of operational experience across eight countries and ten thematic areas — from skills recognition and value-chain development to social protection and financial inclusion.

The new web-based platform takes these insights further by transforming them into practical, easily navigable, and interactive resources for practitioners, policymakers, and development partners working in contexts of forced displacement.

This learning exchange marks the official public release of the portal and provides a space for reflection, exchange, and inspiration.

Through a live panel discussion, participants will hear from practitioners about how experiential learning has shaped their work — and explore practical lessons captured in the learning portal.

Agenda:

14:00-14:10 -Welcome
14:10-14:20 -Plenary: Why experiential learning matters?
14:20-14:30 -Portal demo
14:30-15:20 -Reflections from PROSPECTS programming: Panel discussion
15:20-15:30 -Closing remarks
