Within the context of the EU-funded ILO Ship to Shore Rights Project, the baseline research on Thai fishing and seafood industry conducted in March and April 2017 surveyed 434 workers in 11 provinces across fishing and seafood processing (which included aquaculture.)
The research covered worker’s recent experience in the industry on recruitment, wages, hours, safety and health, support services, complaint mechanisms, living conditions, forced labour indicators, and legal compliance levels.
