With sixty-three million young people worldwide unemployed and 141 million trapped in working poverty, youth employment is a global challenge and a top policy concern. In response, the ILO implements a range of activities on youth employment including advocacy, knowledge development and dissemination, policy and technical advice and capacity building services.
To mark International Youth Day 2019 the Decent Jobs for Youth Alliance, coordinated by the ILO, launched an online knowledge facility to help create positive change for young people who are seeking decent work.
