Conditional cash transfer as a tool to address child labour

International Workshop on Conditional Cash Transfer as a Tool to Address Child Labour

Understanding Children's Work, an inter-agency programme of the International Labour Organization (ILO) United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), World Bank (WB) and the ILO Country Office for the Philippines (CO-Manila) will conduct an International Workshop on Conditional Cash Transfers (CCT) as Tools to Address Child Labour.

The event will gather representatives from the world's biggest CCT programmes, namely: Mexico's Prospera, Brazil's Bolsa Familia, Indonesia's Programme Keluarga Harapan and the Philippines' Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Programme, to share experiences in addressing child labour and come up with recommendations on how to enhance their work towards this end. The activity will be held at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) Conference Center from 9:00 am. to 5:00 p.m. on 11 April 2016.
