International Migrants Day Conference 2022

The Asian Research Centre for Migration, based in the Institute of Asian Studies in Chulalongkorn University in collaboration with the ILO, IOM and the Stockholm Environment Institute hosts the annual conference to celebrate International Migrants Day on 16 December 2022

The annual conference to commemorate and celebrate International Migrants Day brings together researchers, scholars and practitioners to discuss recent trends in labour migration. The ILO presents its recent research at the conference. This year, it consists of five panels:

1. Migration in Thailand’s Agriculture Sector
2. Labour Migration into the Blue Economy
3. Environment, Climate Change and Migration
4. Ageing and Care Work in a Mobile World
5. New Trends of Forced Displacement
