The Disease Prevention and Control Bureau (DPCB) of the Department of Health (DOH) in collaboration with the International Labour Organization (ILO) conducted a four-day training workshop on the “Prevention of Pneumoconioses using the ILO International Classification of Radiographs of Pneumoconioses”.
The Disease Prevention and Control Bureau (DPCB) of the Department of Health (DOH) in collaboration with the International Labour Organization (ILO) conducted a four-day training workshop on the “Prevention of Pneumoconioses using the ILO International Classification of Radiographs of Pneumoconioses”. The workshop offers an extensive educational programme and practical exercises on the application of the ILO Classification of Radiographs of Pneumoconioses.
The workshop was attended by occupational safety and health practitioners such as occupational physicians, chest physicians, pulmonologists and radiologists from different parts of the country as well as representatives from the DOH and Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Occupational Safety and Health Centre (OSHC) and Employees Compensation Commission (ECC).
