ILO hosts a meeting for representatives of development partner countries to support implementation of the NAP For Child Labour in Lebanon
The meeting, in coordination with and under the Patronage of the Minister of Labour, will look into advancing and funding of the National Action Plan in light of the increase in child labour in Lebanon since the onset of the Syria refugee crisis.

The meeting will bring together at least 15 representatives of major development partner countries, to discuss means and seek significant funding to major components of the National Action Plan, especially in light of the sharp rise in child labour in Lebanon since the onset of the Syria refugee crisis especially child labour in agriculture, street work and small establishments.
SPONSORED by the USDOL Country Level Engagement and Assistance to Reduce Child Labour (CLEAR) project, the meeting will present the National Action Plan in light of the shifting socio-economic context, as well as a screening of a short film highlighting aspects of child labour in Lebanon and social partners’ role in implementing the NAP.
