Champasak Provincial Skills Development Center and ILO/China Partnership Programme organized a consultation workshop to review and endorse ICT curriculum (Levels 1-4) on 8-9 June 2023 at Pakse District, Champasak Province, Lao People's Democratic Republic
A total of 22 officials and experts (8 females) attended the workshop, representing Skills Development Institute, MOLSW, Champasak Skills Development Center, Savannakhet Skills Development Center, Attapue Skills Development Center, ICT Companies.
Participants reviewed the ICT curriculum and together with all the modules, such as Microsoft Office competence for Level 1, Operating System for Level 2, Network System Competence for Level 3 and Design & Video Editing for Level 4 based on the guidelines and recommendation by Skills Development Institute, Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare. The ICT curriculum was endorsed for Champasak Provincial Skills Development Center.
The pilot training for 20 trainees on subjects of Microsoft Office, operating system, network system and video editing will be conducted in the short run.
