Global Commemoration of World Day Against Child Labour and the Philippines' Celebration of Independence Day
In support of the global commemoration of World Day Against Child Labour and the Philippines' celebration of Independence Day which both fall on June 12, a free concert was held at the Open Air Auditorium of the Luneta Park from 4:00 to 10:00 pm. Dubbed, "Batang Malaya: A Gathering to Fight Child Labour", the event will feature The Dawn, Noel Cabangon, Ebe Dencel, Dicta License, Brass Pas Pas Pas, Kai Honasan and Reklamo. The activity aims to use music to educate the public about the issue of child labour and how this can be effectively addressed so that children can be free to enjoy their rights.
