Fifth Meeting of the Buyers Forum for sustainability of textile sector in Pakistan

The fifth Pakistan Buyers Forum meeting-convened by the ILO, IFC and Dutch Embassy, will feature presentations on work plans for the three thematic working groups formed in 2015 i.e. Policy, Advocacy & Outreach, Enterprise Improvement and Communication. Updates will be shared by conveners and industry on initiatives focusing social and labour compliance in the Textiles Sector. A briefing session with the Government and extended development partners will continue to strengthen synergies and effective partnerships to boost the efforts towards sustainability of the sector.
