Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) -ILO event on Politics of Migration – Indian Emigration in a Globalised World
The South Asia Labour migration Project funded by the EU is supporting activities in relation to migration policy. Since Indian policy is closely linked to diaspora engagement, this event is supported by the project to inform discourse in this area of migration policy.
Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and ILO have been working together since 2014 on various aspects linked to migration. Under the South Asia Labour Migration Project funded by the European Union, ILO is supporting in part the launch of the book Politics of Migration- Indian Emigration in a Globalised World. This will be followed by a panel discussion on the Evolution of a Diaspora Engagement Strategy.
Invitees include members, Resident Commissioners, relevant Diplomats and missions, former diplomats as well as heads of international organizations
