Expert meeting on Assessing and Addressing the Effects of Trade on Employment

The International Labour Organization ILO organized an international meeting for experts to review their experience in assessing and addressing the impact of trade on employment. ILO's social partners, international experts, relevant European Commission services and experts form the ILO, the ILO-ITC and other International Organizations participated in the meeting. Six international experts presented first drafts of the studies that will be major parts of a global knowledge tool which supports the subsequent work in the four pilot countries under the project "Assessing and Addressing the Effects of Trade on Employment".
