Employers in Mongolia trained to promote safe and respectful workplaces

In October, the Mongolian Employers' Federation (MONEF) arranged a series of six training sessions on the responsibilities of employers in fostering a safe and respectful workplace free from harassment and violence. The events were organised in the framework of the "Trade for Decent Work" project, funded by the European Union.

The seminars have been directed toward representatives of enterprises, employers' organizations, and professional associations to help them understand their role in promoting a safe and respectful workplace free from harassment and violence, in accordance with the revised Labour Law, with an emphasis on Article 7, as well as the ILO Convention 190 and Recommendation 206.
