13th ILO Meeting of Caribbean Ministers of Labour

Decent work for resilience: Securing the future of Caribbean labour

The Co-operative Republic of Guyana, in collaboration with the International Labour Organization (ILO) Decent Work Team Office for the Caribbean, will host Ministers of Labour from across the Caribbean to discuss priority labour matters for Caribbean countries.

His Excellency Gilbert Houngbo, Director-General of the ILO, will attend the event to engage directly with the Ministers of Labour. Additionally, on 8 April, the CARICOM Secretariat will convene a meeting of the Council for Human and Social Development (COHSOD) – (Labour), on the sidelines of this event, to further address critical issues related to labour in the Caribbean.
