Decent Work Country Programme (DWCP) is a framework that ILO uses as a basis to deliver technical cooperation to ILO member States and in particular to strengthen the technical and institutional capacity of the tripartite constituents in the country.
Background and Purpose
Decent Work Country Programme (DWCP) is a framework that ILO uses as a basis to deliver technical cooperation to ILO member States and in particular to strengthen the technical and institutional capacity of the tripartite constituents in the country. In the context of Indonesia, the ILO Jakarta is developing its next Decent Work Country Programme for 2016-2019, which aims to strengthen decent work conditions in Indonesia, including the contribution to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with considerations to the National Mid-Term Development Plan (RPJM) 2015-2019 and the UN Partnership for Development Framework (UNPDF) recently signed. While the work will be undertaken under the direct supervision of the Director of ILO Jakarta Office, the formulation process will be conducted with full participation and in close consultation with the tripartite constituents and other relevant parties.The draft of new DWCP will be developed based on the consultation with the government, workers’ and employers’ organizations. ILO will organize an individual and joint tripartite meetings with its main constituents to get final inputs and recommendations to the draft.
